We have today received an email from Ixion regarding their upcoming O gauge Hudswell Clarke loco…
“Attached are three photographs of the first engineering prototype of the Ixion O Gauge Hudswell Clarke. There is much to be corrected e.g. the finished version will have tyred wheels and a proper dart on the smoke-box door. Nevertheless, we are are pleased with the first shot and it runs well for a first EP. It lifted a a train weighing almost 1kg from a standing start on a 1:18 gradient.”
