Ixion Hudswell Clarke O gauge loco update
Received in an email today..
“The third EP shots of the Ixion O Gauge Hudswell Clarke arrived from Hong Kong this week. Attached are photographs of each of the three liveries. We are pleased with the re-tooling, which has rendered the joints on the saddle-tank and bunker virtually invisible. We are also very happy with the running quality and the lining. However, we are not content with the colour shades for the maroon and green versions and will be correcting these. We are also not satisfied with the main handrail on the saddle-tank as we had asked for this to produced from a more rigid material. We hope to have a satisfactory response from the factory very quickly so that we can give the order to manufacture the run. We are told that the locomotives will take from four to six weeks to produce from the date we give the order.”
